  • Территория Беларуси в составе Обер Ост

    Карта Обер ОстаНемецко-российский фронт первой мировой войны разделил Беларусь на две части. Под немецкой оккупацией находилась территория площадью около 50 тыс км2, что составляло примерно 25 % современной территории Беларуси. Осенью 1915 г. на части занятых северо-восточных земель было создано военно-административное образование Обер Ост (сокращение от нем. Oberbefehlshaber der gesamten deutschen Streitkräfte im Osten) — сокращённое обозначение территории, находившейся в подчинении Верховного командования всеми германскими вооружёнными силами на Востоке.
